Microsoft and Meta have announced the limited edition Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition, launching today for $399.99 USD. The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition Bundle includes a custom 128 GB Meta Quest 3S in Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green, matching Touch Plus controllers, a limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller, the Meta Quest Elite Strap, three months of Meta Horizon+, and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

This collaboration is part of Xbox’s “This Is an Xbox” marketing push, and in this case, it’s a VR headset from another company. These hardware collaborations are another indicator that the Xbox brand is changing significantly. Instead of focusing on its own hardware—which Xbox is still doing, having just signed a multi-year agreement with AMD—it’s also leveraging existing companies for Xbox-branded hardware, like the upcoming ASUS ROG Xbox Ally.

As for the Meta Quest 3S, there’s an Xbox app on the headset that players can use to instantly access hundreds of games with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) as part of their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. Players can also stream and play supported Game Pass titles across different devices, meaning they can play on their Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition and pick up where they left off on their console or PC.

Quantities for this limited edition headset are “extremely limited” according to Xbox, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s available at meta.com and Best Buy.
