Quick Verdict
One of the main reasons the Nintendo Switch 2 was the industry’s worst-kept secret was third-party companies that had accessories ready to go long before the console was even introduced. While JSAUX wasn’t one of the companies that made headlines with leaks of the Switch 2, we knew the brand would have an arsenal of accessories ready for the launch. My first introduction to JSAUX was when I was shopping for an ASUS ROG Ally dock, and JSAUX’s offerings were the most highly recommended ones. When the brand reached out to me to see if I would be interested in reviewing its Switch 2 accessories, I was more than happy to agree.
What I didn’t expect was to receive such a wide collection of Switch 2 accessories. There’s no denying JSAUX’s reputation and quality, especially at the price point, but the company is definitely trying to cast a wide net here. We all know different people have different tastes, so while some of these accessories may not interest me, they may interest you. JSAUX already has a good number of cases and accessories, which I’ll break down individually below, but overall, if you’re having a hard time filtering through the sea of different brands on Amazon, you can’t go wrong with something from JSAUX.
Colorful Ultra-Thin Carrying Case

The JSAUX colorful ultra-thin carrying case comes with two colors, matching the launch Joy-Con colorway. You can choose either a light blue exterior with an orange zipper area or the reverse. While I liked that this was a lightweight and thin case with a protective shell, I was not a fan of the tan interior. As a car enthusiast, I’m generally not a fan of tan interiors at all, but if you prefer them over a darker shade, then this is the case for you. The zippers felt great, but it’s worth noting the inner flap lacks a zippered storage area for other accessories. There is a place to store 10 games, which is pretty standard for Switch and Switch 2 cases.

Shock-Absorbent Storage Case

If you just need a case to protect the Switch 2 with attached Joy-Cons, I highly recommend JSAUX’s shock-absorbent storage case. It’s got a nice hard shell exterior with a translucent black finish made from hard PC material. It’s a very tight fit, though, so you won’t be able to use this case if you have any other accessory—like another case or grip—attached to the console. There are soft silicone strips to protect the joystick area, so they don’t actually come into contact with the case. It also includes a detachable wrist strap for easy carrying. The ridged slots you see on the upper flap can actually be used to store up to 10 games.

Portable Carrying Case

For a real heavy-duty carrying case, this option from JSAUX features a dual-layer thickened EVA design. I definitely prefer the interior of this case over the other ones I received, but it’s worth noting that it’s designed for use with a Switch 2 that has a protective case. If your Switch 2 is bare, there’s a bit of extra space for it to move around within the carrying case. It provides storage for up to 15 game cards and includes a small mesh pouch for accessories. I would mainly recommend this case for users who have another case or grip attached to their Switch 2. Bonus points for the soft inner lining.

Ergonomic Battle Armor Protective Case

Initially, I never understood the appeal of protective cases like this one. Turns out, they do a really good job making the Switch 2 more comfortable to hold for a long period of time. I’m one of those who have always found the original Switch to be rather uncomfortable to hold for a long period of time, and unfortunately, the Switch 2 is no different for me. So while I wait for Mobapad to introduce its new Joy-Cons, I’m glad JSAUX sent over this ergonomic case. It’s easy to slip on with access to all the system’s ports. Along with better ergonomics, the case also protects my Switch 2 from minor bumps. Overall, it’s pretty thin, lightweight, and feels quite nice in the hands. Naturally, you won’t be able to remove the Joy-Cons or access the back stand while the case is on.

Integrated Soft TPU Protective Case

If you prefer something a bit more subtle but still want to protect your Switch 2 with some improved ergonomics, JSAUX also offers this soft TPU protective case. I personally think the clear finish clashes with the black exterior, but that’s personal preference. Like the other protective case, you’ll have access to all the ports, but you won’t be able to remove the Joy-Cons or access the stand with it on. You’ll also need to remove it if you plan on docking the Switch 2. Overall, this is the case if you want something clear and easy to slip on, offering some protection for your new console.

Ergonomic Controller Full-Cover Case Set

Personally, I wasn’t a fan of this full-cover case set. The covers for the controllers weren’t the easiest to align and snap together, although they did add a slightly better grip to the Joy-Cons. The center piece does its job to protect against scratches while giving you access to the rear kickstand. I would say this product is mainly designed to protect your device from scratches and the occasional drop, but I prefer the other options on this list.

Multi-Mode Joystick Cap and Thumb Grip with Lever Guard Set

It’s a bit hard to tell in the photos, but JSAUX did a really good job matching its multi-mode joystick cap and thumb grip with lever guard set to the standard colors of the Joy-Cons. The orange and blue caps are both a perfect match for the current colorway. There are three different grips for each color, and you can also get them in all black if you want. I know many people who love using these types of covers, especially when they have different options to get just the right feel. They’re pretty easy to install, and if you’re finding the stock Joy-Cons a bit slippery in the joystick department, try them out.

Tempered Glass Screen Protector

I confess: I don’t use screen protectors on any of my devices. So I will admit I didn’t actually install any of these tempered glass screen protectors. However, JSAUX does include a nice template for easy installation, and they look precisely cut to match the Switch 2’s screen. I received both matte and clear options, so you can pick based on your preference, and JSAUX says they are built from dual-tempered 9H glass to resist scratches and absorb shocks.

Racing Steering Wheel

I always found these racing wheel accessories more of a novelty than anything, and that doesn’t really change with the Switch 2. These, however, have a very nice design, are comfortable in hand, and make great use of the triggers. Of course, on the Switch 2 they’re mainly used for Mario Kart World, but I was surprised by how fun they were to use. It’s still not my preferred way to play, but I see why others enjoy it.

Game Card Case 40

The final product is a game card case that has 40 slots. It features a portfolio-style design that opens up and is compatible with both Switch and Switch 2 game cards. Unfortunately, I don’t have any physical Switch 2 game cards to test yet, but I can see the additional notch for those cartridges. The case features a durable PC and ABS hard shell with a soft silicone lining on the inside. It’s pretty compact too, at least as compact as it can be while holding this many games. It uses magnets with just the right amount of resistance to close. Each slot can also accommodate a microSD memory card.
