This month, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt celebrates its 10th anniversary, and Xbox is commemorating the occasion with two special edition controllers: one standard and one Elite Series 2 Core. The 10th Anniversary Special Edition controllers are available exclusively through the Microsoft Store, with the standard edition costing $79.99 and the Elite edition priced at $169.99.
At the center of each controller is the wolf-medallion icon, with the wolf’s head positioned below the Xbox button and between the face buttons, its eyes glowing red. Other details include Glagolitic script—the oldest known Slavic alphabet, which also appears in the game. The bottom right corner of each controller sports the red claw mark from The Witcher 3’s logo, while the controllers’ triggers are finished in two different colors to pay homage to The Witcher’s twin swords.
“We are incredibly excited to be working so closely with Xbox on the Special Edition The Witcher 3 controllers,” said Agnieszka Skuza, marketing specialist at CD Projekt Red. “It was great to bounce ideas back and forward with Xbox as we both worked to create something truly special. The Witcher 3 has such a lasting legacy and we wanted to commemorate this by releasing something that fits right in the hands of players who’s journeyed with Geralt over the last 10 years.”
