A couple of weeks ago, Blizzard Entertainment revealed a Street Fighter 6 (review) collaboration for Overwatch 2. The initial announcement trailer was a slick animation, but we didn’t get to see how the costumes would look in-game. The gloves are now off, with a gameplay trailer revealing how the characters look in their Street Fighter 6 costumes, and it’s awesome. Widowmaker is a very fitting Cammy, while Soldier: 76 makes for a convincing Guile. I personally love Winston as Blanka and Sigma as M. Bison, but something tells me Juno as Chun-Li and Kiriko as Juri will probably be the most popular costumes. Rounding off the collaboration event is Hanzo as Ryu and Zenyatta as Dhalsim.
The collaboration launches on May 20, and all eight collab skins will be available as part of a Street Fighter 6 Ultra Bundle and in two separate Mega Bundles. The Overwatch 2 Street Fighter 6 Mega Bundle 1 includes Chun-Li, Ryu, Dhalsim, and M. Bison, while Mega Bundle 2 has Juri, Cammy, Blanka, and Guile. Each costume will also be sold individually. Those who don’t feel like spending any money will only be able to earn 40,000 XP, themed sprays, voice lines, and the Street Fighter player title.
