One of our most anticipated games of the year, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, is launching on June 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5. The announcement came during the panel at SXSW 2025, where Kojima Productions founder Hideo Kojima shared more about the game and the 10-minute trailer. The highly anticipated sequel features the return of Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges, along with Léa Seydoux as Fragile and Troy Baker as Higgs. New characters include Tomorrow (Elle Fanning), Rainy (Shioli Kutsuna), Tarman (George Miller), Neil (Luca Marinelli), Doctor (Debra Wilson), and Lucy (Alissa Jung).

Preorders for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach open on March 17, 2025, and a Collector’s Edition will be available that includes a 15-inch Magellan Man statue, art cards, a letter from Hideo Kojima, a three-inch Dollman figurine, a collector’s box, and an assortment of digital in-game items. Those who preorder the Collector’s Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition will also be able to play the game 48 hours prior to the official launch.
