Voting has closed on the PlayStation Blog Game of the Year 2024 awards and this year over 1.6 million votes were cast. The winners have been announced across the 19 categories with four titles earning trophies per category—bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. There were some guidelines for this year’s awards with Best Multiplayer Experience focusing on titles released in 2024, while Best Ongoing Game focuses on titles that have received new, large-scale content or game-changing updates launched over this past year. The category for Best Rerelease consists of games that, in the main, have upgraded visuals and some quality-of-life improvements, but otherwise are close to their original launch version. Best Rerelease does not include full-scale remakes of older titles, but they are eligible for Game of the Year.

To be considered for this year’s awards, the game must have been released by November 30. Any title released after that date will be eligible for nominations and voting next year. Also, if any game won a Platinum Trophy in a category any previous year, it isn’t eligible for inclusion in the same category this year. See the full list of the PlayStation Blog Game of the Year 2024 winners below.
