Despite facing a lawsuit from Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, developer Pocketpair continues to expand Palworld. The game has announced an upcoming collaboration with Terraria set for 2025, bringing together two successful titles in their respective genres. Terraria, a sandbox game often compared to a 2D Minecraft, offers a unique experience. Released in 2011, it has sold 58.7 million units as of June 2024. While Palworld hasn’t reached those sales figures, it sold millions of copies within the first week of its Early Access launch earlier this year.

Details about the Palworld and Terraria collaboration are scarce, but it is scheduled for 2025. Terraria features many iconic characters that could integrate into Palworld’s universe, and many Pals could translate well into Terraria. In announcing the collaboration, Palworld developers also confirmed they will share news about the next update soon. Last month, Pocketpair revealed that Palworld would be coming to mobile platforms with the help of PUBG Studios.
