The wonderful Arcane series is back on Netflix with season 2, and to celebrate, Riot Games has released a gameplay trailer for Jinx in its upcoming 2XKO fighting game. The sneak peek video for Jinx was accompanied by a blog post detailing what the team learned from its Alpha Lab in August and what we can expect in the future. The Alpha Lab for 2XKO was Riot Games’ first chance to see what players liked and disliked about its 2v2 fighting game. Based on feedback from Alpha Lab, 2XKO’s development team is now focusing on three things: creating more opportunities for team play, decreasing downtime, and improving controls.

2XKO is planning another playtest in spring 2025, which will be available in more regions than the first Alpha Lab. Jinx will be playable for the first time during the next playtest. Unfortunately, this will be the final update from the Riot 2XKO team until next year. If you’re interested in 2XKO, make sure you sign up for playtests.
