The latest game in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, sold three million copies worldwide within 24 hours of its launch. Released on October 11 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game quickly rose to the top of Steam’s sales charts on PC and hit an all-time peak of 122,554 concurrent players. That’s a significant jump compared to the previous game in the franchise, Dragon Ball FighterZ, which reached 44,303 all-time peak concurrent players.
Developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero features over 180 fighters from the Dragon Ball franchise with high-speed 3D battles that truly capture what the anime series is all about.
