Video game concerts are hardly anything new, with Video Games Live having conducted concerts worldwide since 2005. Even Final Fantasy’s Distant Worlds has been touring since 2007, bringing some of gaming’s most iconic music to a live audience. Now, PlayStation is joining in on the action, having announced PlayStation The Concert, a worldwide tour stopping at over 200 cities across Europe, the U.K., the U.S., and more. The concert series will debut in Dublin, Ireland, on April 19, 2025, before embarking across Europe and making stops in places such as Scotland, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich, Bologna, Hungary, Prague, and more. Currently PlayStation has only announced European dates, but will be revealing other world locations soon.
PlayStation The Concert is being produced in collaboration with RoadCo Entertainment and GEA Live, focusing on the brand’s most iconic gaming soundtracks with a state-of-the-art production. Some of the franchises that will be part of the tour are the obvious ones: The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon.
The PlayStation community will have the first opportunity to get tickets through the early access code PLAYCONCERT24 will be usable starting at 7:00am Pacific (10:00am Eastern) on October 16. You can find more information on tickets and tour dates here.
