Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions for October 2024, available for all PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting October 15. Headlining this month’s lineup is Dead Island 2, available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The long-awaited sequel exceeded expectations, and those who were on the fence about purchasing it can now try it out as part of their PlayStation Plus subscription. It’s a first-person zombie action RPG with co-op support for up to three players.

Simulation fans can dive into Two Point Campus on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the sequel to the popular Two Point Hospital. If you enjoy it, you can also look forward to the developer’s next game, Two Point Museum. Since it is October and spooky season, this month’s lineup wouldn’t be complete without a horror game or two. Horror fans can look forward to The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This series of stand-alone branching cinematic horror games comes from the studio behind Until Dawn and is designed for easy pick-up-and-play short sessions, alone or with friends. The Devil in Me is the fourth game in the series and serves as the Season One finale.

The indie hit Gris also joins the lineup on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s the story of a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, trying to cope with a painful experience. It’s a puzzle platformer offering an evocative and unique experience. Monkey Island fans who have been holding off on Return to Monkey Island can grab it on their PlayStation 5. The game marks the return of series creator Ron Gilbert and continues the story from The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge.

Fans of spooky season looking for something lighter, there’s Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s an asymmetrical multiplayer game where four Ghostbusters work together to catch a Ghost haunting unique locations. Play solo with bots or team up with up to four friends online. With Simulator games for nearly everything, this month’s addition to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog includes Firefighting Simulator The Squad for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In single-player mode, players lead an experienced firefighting team, while multiplayer co-op allows players to team up with up to three friends to tackle roles that suit them best.

Are you an off-road enthusiast? Overpass 2 heads to PlayStation 5, letting players hop into their favorite UTV, ATV, or Rock Bouncer in solo or multiplayer modes. Overpass 2 features five game modes: off-road sprint, off-road circuit, hill climb, obstacle course, and closed circuit. The game features vehicles from major manufacturers like Yamaha, Arctic Cat, and Suzuki, which players can take off-roading across 30 routes in five regions. Cycling enthusiasts can look forward to Tour de France 2023 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, offering players the chance to experience the intensity of the Grande Boucle.

Lastly, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands arrives on PlayStation 4. Experience an open-world adventure in Bolivia either solo or with up to three friends, with a focus on freedom of playstyle. It’s a military shooter where players can create and customize their own Ghost, weapons, and gear.

PlayStation Premium subscribers will get access to The Last Clockwinder on PlayStation VR2, Dino Crisis and Siren on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and R-Type Dimensions EX on PlayStation 4.
