Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series has officially joined the Street Fighter 6 roster as the first-ever guest character in the franchise. He won’t be the last, as Capcom has already confirmed He won’t be the last, as Capcom has already confirmed Mai will join the Year 2 roster as well. Terry is playable across all three game modes—World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub—in Street Fighter 6 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Alongside Terry’s release, Street Fighter 6 introduces two new features, V-Rival and Replay Review, both designed to help train fighters.

Players can unlock Terry with the Year 2 Character/Ultimate Pass or purchase him individually for 350 Fighter Coins. He comes with his Outfit 1 and Colors 1 & 2. The update also introduces the legendary Pao Pao Cafe 6 as the newest stage, packed with SNK-themed references for players to discover. The stage is also included with the Year 2 Ultimate Pass or can be purchased individually for 250 Fighter Coins or 5000 Drive Tickets.

Once unlocked, players can find Terry in World Tour as the newest Master, allowing them to learn his moves and strengthen bonds like with other Masters in the game. After fulfilling two conditions—apprenticeship to Ryu and clearing Chapter 11-4—players will find a One Fateful Day option under the World Tour menu. This event takes them to Metro City alongside Terry for a 3-on-3 battle event called Knock Out Festival.

V-Rival, one of the two new features, is a mode where players fight against an AI opponent created from real player data collected from millions of ranked matches. There are options to set the AI to any rank and character, so players have the opportunity to train against particular opponents without having to deal with a ranked match. The mode also offers advice from Li-Fen and the chance to receive various rewards including stamps and titles. The other feature is Replay Review, allowing players to take control of either player during any movement of a replay playback to see what could have changed the course of the fight. Additionally, players can now toggle the frame meter during replays and adjust the replay speed.

Other minor updates include the addition of the 20 winning illustrations from the Street Fighter Art Contest, which you can get for free under the Character Portrait option in Battle Settings -> Character -> Customize Challenges. UDON Comics artists have also contributed comic book-style New Challenger art for each character, along with additional stamps and effects for use in Photo mode. Street Fighter 6 has also added new avatar costumes and items to the Hub Goods Shop, along with enhancements to the CFN Players menu, allowing players to check the log-in status of others and quickly jump to their Custom Room or Battle Hub server.

The remaining Season 2 characters, Mai and Elena, are set to join the roster next year.
