The lovely Kena: Bridge of Spirits is finally heading to Xbox consoles (One, Series X|S) on August 15. The Xbox version of the game will feature exclusive content including pirate-themed Rot hats, a unique Kena Staff, and a Golden Rot Skin. The team is also partnering with Maximum Entertainment to offer a physical Premium Edition, which will be available at major retailers globally. Along with the base game, the Premium Edition includes an official digital soundtrack, retail exclusive sticker sheet, and the aforementioned Xbox-exclusive content.

Originally launched on PlayStation platforms in September 2021, Kena: Bridge of Spirits took home Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards 2021. It’s a delightful adventure where players take on the role of Kena, a young Spirit Guide, as she tries to restore balance to an ancient village. It features a nice blend of exploration, puzzle solving, and action combat, with surprisingly challenging boss battles. I found the story a bit lackluster, but overall the game was enjoyable, and I do recommend it as it’s worth a playthrough.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be priced at $39.99, including the physical Premium Edition. Preorders will be available soon.
