Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is receiving a new free update titled A Parting of the Waves. It will arrive on PC first on April 11, before being released on consoles at a later date. The update serves as the conclusion of the Karak Azgaraz storyline and the fourth and final map is not a remaster of a Vermintide 1 mission; it is brand new. A Parting of the Waves will introduce more than just stormy weather to Vermintide 2. Players will encounter a new enemy type with the update, a Chaos Warrior armed with a shield and mace, who can be found on all maps with Rotbloods presence.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 originally released in March 2018 and has become a very popular co-op game on Steam. It is a four-player action game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world and serves as the sequel to the ever-popular Vermintide. The game features five different characters, each with three branching careers. In total, the game has 15 different talent trees and over 50 weapon types. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
