Game Pass subscribers have plenty to look forward to in the second half of March, with Microsoft confirming the Wave 2 lineup for this month. Starting today, Lightyear Frontier (Game Preview on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) and MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) are both available as day one releases on the service. In Lightyear Frontier, players will build an interstellar homestead in a peaceful, open-world farming adventure. MLB The Show 24 needs no introduction, being the latest entry in the Major League Baseball video game series.
On March 20, The Quarry will be available on Cloud and Console, for those seeking a story-centric horror game featuring nine teenage counselors. The following day, March 21, Evil West is available on Cloud, Console, and PC. Players can experience this third-person shooter solo or in co-op, battling against hordes of bloodthirsty vampiric monstrosities.
Terra Invicta, a Game Preview title, will be available on PC starting March 26. It comes from the developers of Long War and is a sci-fi grand strategy game. For many, the highlight of the lineup is the addition of Diablo IV. It’s the first of what are likely to be many Activision Blizzard titles coming to Game Pass following Microsoft’s acquisition of the giant publisher. Diablo IV will be available starting March 28—you can read our review here. Also arriving on March 28 are Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged and Open Roads, both available on Cloud, Console, and PC. The former is a racing game set in the Hot Wheels universe, while the latter is a day one release of an interactive movie mystery-thriller video game.
Heading into April, Xbox gave a preview of a few titles that will be available early in the month. Ark: Survival Ascended, built in Unreal Engine 5, joins the lineup on April 1, available for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. F1 23 (Cloud) via EA Play will be available on April 2, along with Superhot: Mind Control Delete (Cloud, Console, and PC) as a returning title.
