We’re just over a month away from the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which was awarded the Most Anticipated Game at The Game Awards 2023. It’s also one of our most anticipated games of the year, and to get us even more excited, the team has unveiled a new trailer. Titled “Destined for Rebirth,” the trailer mainly focuses on Sephiroth, but the words that appear are noteworthy: “Those destined for rebirth do not fear the unknown.” Let the speculation begin, on who that statement alludes to. Is it Zack? Is it Aerith? Is it Cloud?

The brief trailer also displays new gameplay, giving each main cast member a few moments in the spotlight. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. It’s expected to eventually arrive on PC as well.
