Nintendo has announced a Direct for September 14, 2023, at 7:00am Pacific/10:00am Eastern, focusing on Nintendo Switch games set to release this winter. The Direct is estimated to last about 40 minutes. A few games slated for a winter release include Detective Pikachu Returns, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, WarioWare: Movie It!, and Super Mario RPG Remake. Given that Super Mario Bros. Wonder recently had its own Direct, it’s unlikely we’ll hear much more about it.
With the holiday season approaching, Nintendo is likely to unveil a few surprises during this Direct. However, don’t anticipate any announcements regarding the Switch’s successor. Recently, Nintendo announced new Switch and Switch Lite bundles, so clearly it’s still focused on selling its current console this winter.
