Microsoft has announced a new way for users to customize their Xbox Series X console with the Xbox Series X Console Wraps. Launching this year, Xbox has opened preorders for three designs: Starfield, Arctic Camo, and Mineral Camo. Now, there are existing Xbox Series X wrap options from the aftermarket, but this official product is quite different than the vinyl wrap most companies offer.

According to Microsoft, “every detail was taken into consideration to ensure your console performance is preserved — vents are all clear, and small feet were added to the bottom of the wraps to ensure air can flow freely through the console.” Instead of the more common vinyl wrap you’ll find online, these wraps are made with solid core panels that are layered with high-tech fabric finishes. You take the wrap and fold it around your console, which is then secured with a hook and loop enclosure. The inside of the wraps are lined with printed and silicone designs to keep it all in place.

The Starfield-inspired console wrap matches the Starfield Xbox accessories and is launching in the U.S., Canada, and Europe on October 18 with a $49.99 USD price tag. The two camouflage options, Arctic Camo and Mineral Camo, are priced at $44.99 USD, and both are launching in the U.S. and Canada on November 10. Only Minera Camo will be available in Europe, on the same date.
