A new game from The Walking Dead universe has been announced by GameMill Entertainment and AMC. Titled The Walking Dead: Destinies, players will relive moments from the first four seasons of the show in a third-person action-adventure game. But what’s interesting is that players can change the outcome of the story, altering it from the events that unfolded in the television series. If you didn’t like the direction the show took during the first four seasons, now is your chance to see what could have happened if things played out differently.

Players will start the game as Rick Grimes in the infamous hospital where it all started. From there, they’ll visit iconic locations from the show, including Atlanta, the Greene family farm, the prison, and Woodbury. During those events, players will have the opportunity to make decisions, such as whether Rick or Shane will lead the group, or if they want to recruit the Governor to their cause.

Throughout the game, players will have the opportunity to form their own team from the roster of over 12 iconic characters from the show, including Rick, Shane, Michonne, Carol, Daryl, and more. Gameplay involves defending the camp, rescuing survivors, and of course, fighting zombies.

The Walking Dead: Destinies is heading to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. No official release date was announced. The game is being developed by Flux Games and published by GameMill Entertainment.
