Overwatch Arrives Spring 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Overwatch will be released in spring 2016, Blizzard Entertainment announced at BlizzCon 2015. Originally assumed to be a free-to-play game, Overwatch will cost $39.99 on the PC for those that want to buy a basic version of the game that includes 21 heroes and a pre-purchase bonus of a Noire Skin for Widowmaker. Also available on the PC and for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is the Overwatch: Origins Edition, priced at $59.99. That version also includes the Noire Skin for Widowmaker if you pre-order and five origin skins: Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, Strike-Commander Morrison, Blackwatch Reyes and Slipstream Tracer.

The Origins Edition will also come with in-game goodies for other Blizzard Entertainment games including an Overwatch card back for Hearthstone, Tracer hero for Heroes of the Storm, Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft, Mercy’s Wings for Diablo III and six player portraits for StarCraft II (Tracer, Reaper, Pharah, Winston, Bastion and Soldier: 76).

Finally, there’s the Collector’s Edition that includes everything from the Origins Edition plus a visual sourcebook, soundtrack and Soldier: 76 statue. The Collector’s Edition will be priced at $129.99 and is available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
