Numerous changes are heading to Hearthstone, Blizzard announced today. The company also claims that this will be the last big set of balance changes and once Hearthstone goes live, the team hopes to make very few changes to cards until they are absolutely necessary.

As for this wave of changes, Unleash the Hounds will now go down to two mana cost from four while Pyroblast will see its mana cost rise to 10 from eight. Blood Imp‘s mechanic will also change significantly, becoming a 0/1 minion that will give a random friendly minion +1 Health at the end of your turn. The Warrior’s Warsong Commander has also been changed to giving a friendly minion +2 attack and charge and will now cost three mana. That change was made to help eliminate the One Turn Kill decks many Warriors are currently running.

Abusive Sergeant is also seeing a change so that its Battlecry which will now read: Give a minion +2 Attack until the end of turn. This change coincides with a change to the Dark Iron Dwarf, which also features the same Battlecry now rather than permanently buffing a minion’s attack by two. Defender of Argus is getting toned down to become a 2/3 minion from a 3/3 minion while Novice Engineer will be a 1/1, down from a 1/2. Lastly, the legendary Sylvanas Windrunner card will see its mana cost go up to six, from five.
