The Sony PlayStation 3 update version 4.5 will be available today that will add improvements to make downloading system and game updates more convenient to PS3 owners. System software updates will now download automatically for all PSN users, a feature that was previously only available to PS Plus members. In addition, purchases made on the Sony Entertainment Network online store will now auto download for all PSN users.

The Playstation 3 update also adds new options for trophy privacy settings, which will now allow users to set which trophies are visible. Lastly, data can be transferred from the PS3 to the PlayStation Vita using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection.
