The war between the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 rages on as Microsoft stores are now offering $100 store credit towards an Xbox One if players trade in their PlayStation 3 consoles. The offer is good from January 23 to March 2 and gamers can also trade in their Xbox 360 Slim or Xbox 360 Elite and get the same $100 credit.
According to the offer, the consoles must power up and be fully functional and include all the original accessories and chargers and cannot be damaged. To receive the maximum trade-in value, you must purchase the Xbox One at the same time as the trade-in.
Of course the trade-in value is a built on the low side, considering you could always sell your used console for more on Craigslist or even eBay. But for those that don’t like dealing with the hassle of selling to random strangers, Microsoft is really pushing you towards upgrading to the Xbox One.
