Set to launch on August 29 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Visions of Mana is giving everyone a sneak preview of what to expect with a surprise demo release this evening. Details on the demo are a bit light (we’re still downloading), but players will be able to see a section of the story, experience some battles, and explore the world. There’s also a note that some of the content will be different from the release version of the game, something Square Enix also did with the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo.

Those who play the Visions of Mana demo will receive three weapons for Val in the full game: Gladius (small sword), Falx (great sword), and Horn Lance (lance).

Visions of Mana is one of our top games to play in August 2024 and among our most anticipated games of the year. It was one of the most exciting announcements from The Game Awards 2023 for me, since it’s been over 15 years since we’ve had a mainline entry.
