We are getting close to the end of 2023, one of the most exciting years in gaming we’ve experienced. That said, November doesn’t have as many big releases as October, but there are still several games releasing this month that we’re looking forward to playing.
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story kicks off the month, available on November 1 for PC and Switch. Developed by Tequila Works, Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story chronicles the journey of best friends Nunu and Willump through the frozen wilds of the Freljord.
RoboCop: Rogue City
It won’t be on the same level as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from last month, but RoboCop: Rogue City may just be fun enough. Become the legendary part-man, part-machine, cop-hero and dish out justice in old Detroit with your powerful Auto-9 or one of the other 20 weapons available in the game. This original story takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3 and will feature locations and familiar faces. It even has the original RoboCop actor, Peter Weller, reprising the role as the voice of RoboCop. It launches November 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Star Ocean The Second Story R
Also set to launch on November 2 is Star Ocean: The Second Story R. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC. This remake of Star Ocean The Second Story from 1998 adds a new stunning 2.5D visual direction that combines beautiful 3D environments with 2D pixel characters. Players will find many of the features that made the original game so memorable, along with new gameplay features such real-time combat and battle mechanics, and customizable party progression.
The Talos Principle 2
Yet another game releasing on November 2, The Talos Principle 2 is a first-person puzzle experience that expands on the first game’s philosophical themes. Developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital, you can pick it up on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
WarioWare: Move It!
Those who have been waiting patiently for a new WarioWare game can finally enjoy WarioWare: Move It! on the Switch starting November 3. Packed with motion-based microgames, the latest entry in the WarioWare series offers a plethora of silly antics, ensuring a hilarious time when playing with friends.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is set to launch digitally on November 7. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. The sequel features a new single-player campaign where players can put their skills to the test to stop Danny Phantom archvillain Vlad Plasmius from taking over the Nickelodeon universe. The game features a diverse roster of characters, ranging from Aang and Azula from the Avatar series to Spongebob and Squidward from the Spongebob Squarepants series.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be available on November 9. You can pick it up on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This spin-off follows Kazuma Kiryu after faking his own death and abandoning his name to protect his family. Now, he’s thrown into conflict by a mysterious figure trying to drive him out of hiding.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to arrive on November 10. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, players will rejoin Captain Price and Task Force 141 as they face off against the ultranationalist war criminal, Vladimir Makarov.
Persona 5 Tactica
Persona 5 Tactica is perhaps my most anticipated game of November 2023. It will be available starting November 16 and can be picked up on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. This strategy RPG features turn-based combat and introduces an all-new story with the beloved cast of Persona 5.
Super Mario RPG
Another notable release this month is a remaster of a beloved classic. Super Mario RPG launches November 17 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. In this RPG adventure, join Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach, and original characters Mallow and Geno as they unite to combat the menacing Smithy Gang.
