Xbox is starting 2025 off with a Developer Direct event on January 23 at 10:00 AM Pacific (1:00 PM Eastern). The presentation will cover several games coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass this year. For those unfamiliar with Developer_Direct, the event is presented by the game creators themselves and the titles Xbox has confirmed include South of Midnight (Compulsion Games), Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Sandfall Interactive), and DOOM: The Dark Ages (id Software). Xbox is teasing a surprise at the end of the event as the Developer_Direct will visit a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game.
Both Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and DOOM: The Dark Ages are on our most anticipated games of the year list, so we’re excited to hear more about both games in a couple of weeks.
