Kuro Games has announced that the upcoming Genshin Impact competitor, Wuthering Waves, is set to launch on May 22. The open-world action RPG, developed by the same team behind Punishing: Gray Raven, has undergone promising closed beta tests. Pre-registrations for the game are now open, and as of the time of publishing, over 16 million people have registered. There are still two more milestone goals to reach: 20 million and 30 million pre-registrations.
Wuthering Waves will be available on PC, iOS, Android, and the Epic Games Store. The story-rich RPG promises a high degree of freedom, with players waking from slumber as Rover and joining a cast of Resonators on a journey to reclaim lost memories and fight back against the Lament.
