Blizzard Entertainment has just officially announced Warlords of Draenor, the next World of Warcraft expansion, at BlizzCon 2013.

Chris Metzen led up to the announcement by talking about Warcraft’s history from 30 game years ago when the war between Orcs vs. Humans kicked off, thanks to characters like Hellscream and Gul’dan. As earlier rumors revealed, Warlords of Draenor will have World of Warcraft players going back in time to change the course of history.

“What if those dark days could come again?” Metzen asked the crowd. What if a pantheon of the most vicious villains in Warcraft could threaten once again? He continued to tease the crowd that was anxiously awaiting the official announcement for Warlords of Draenor.

Features include: new character models, build and upgrade your own garrison, level cap increased to 100 and adventure in the new land of Draenor. Players will also be able to boost and level jump straight to 90.
