World of Warcraft has had over 100-million lifetime players, Blizzard Entertainment has revealed. The company released an infographic with several interesting statistics on its record-setting MMORPG that was originally released in 2004.
Other information Blizzard revealed include:
WoW has been played in 244 countries and territories including Antarctica, the Bahamas, Christmas Island and Tokelau
11-million Pandarens have invaded Azeroth
500-million characters have been created in WoW
Each day there are 3.6-million pet battles to go along with 670,000 PvP instances and 900,000 PvE instances
