BEYOND: Two Souls is available today exclusively on the Sony PlayStation 3, starring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe. Developed by Quantic Dream, which also created Heavy Rain, BEYOND: Two Souls tells the story and journey of Jodie Holmes, who is played by Ellen Page and her mysterious link to Aiden, a supernatural being that only Jodie is able to communicate with.
The game is being billed as blurring the line between games and cinema, though early reviews have BEYOND: Two Souls being more of an interactive movie than well, a video game. But that was expected considering that it’s by the same developers of Heavy Rain. In other words, if you’re a fan of great storytelling and not looking for something groundbreaking in terms of gameplay, BEYOND: Two Souls is up your alley.
