Detective Pikachu and his human partner, Tim Goodman, are ready to embark on an all new adventure on October 6 when Detective Pikachu Returns launches on the Nintendo Switch. In this new game, players will work to unravel a series of mysteries across Ryme City. The story kicks off with a jewel theft, leading Detective Pikachu and Tim on a path filled with mysterious questions: Why did Tim’s father, Harry, go missing? What is causing all the Pokémon-related incidents in Ryme City? Players will have to solve those mysteries in Ryme City by working with other Pokémon, some of which will use their unique skills to assist their investigations.

The most recent trailer, unveiled in today’s Pokémon Presents, introduces the cast of characters and Pokémon players will engage with in Detective Pikachu Returns. We see Tim’s family, his friend Rachel, and her father, along with some gameplay footage.
