Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a game I’ve been obsessively playing for over a month, recently obtaining its Platinum Trophy. It’s among the most remarkable games I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing, and I’m currently debating where it ranks on my list of the best games I’ve ever played. For fans of the series like myself, Square Enix has released a four-part documentary that provides an inside look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. We not only learn more about how this monumental game was created but also hear stories from the series’ directors, artists, designers, and voice actors. One particular moment I loved occurs in episode four, when Matthew Mercer discovers he’s playing the role of Vincent Valentine.

You can find all four episodes of the Inside Final Fantasy VII Rebirth documentary below.

Episode One: Shaping the World

Episode Two: Friends of Fate

Episode Three: New Friends & Foes

Episode Four: Voicing Icons
