Ultra Street Fighter IV will be heading to Steam on PC, and Capcom hopes to release it at around the same time as the console versions. It was recently announced that King of Fighters 13 would be heading to Steam on September 13, and recent sales of Mortal Kombat 9 on PC have exceeded the expectations of NetherRealm Studios. Fighting games have, for the most part, avoided PC ports until recently so it’s exciting to hear that Capcom will be bringing its latest iteration of Street Fighter IV to Steam.
Also announced on Twitter by Capcom’s Neidel “Haunts” Crisan is that Ultra Street Fighter IV will be transitioning away from Games for Windows Live in favor of Steam’s online support, much to the rejoice of PC gamers.
