When Titanfall was first announced as a console exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, rumors swirled that it was simply a timed exclusivity and that it would ultimately end up on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms. Unfortunately for Sony gamers, that won’t be the case as it has now been confirmed that Titanfall will be exclusive to the Xbox and PC platforms for the life of the product.

The news comes courtesy of a tweet from Eddie Makuch, that says EA’s CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed that Titanfall will indeed not be heading to the Sony consoles ever.

Titanfall will be released on March 11, 2014 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC and you can score yourself a real fancy limited edition copy for $249.99.
