If you’re still disappointed about Diablo IV and the direction it’s heading, you might be happy to hear that Titan Quest II is officially confirmed to be in development. The sequel to Titan Quest is heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but it’s unclear when. It comes from the creators of SpellForce 3 and once again, players will return to the classic mythology-inspired setting of Titan Quest to go toe-to-toe with legendary monsters in a fantastical reimagining of ancient Greece.

Titan Quest II will feature a flexible character system, where players can customize their hero and form their own class by combining two masteries. In addition, there will be different combinations of skill modifiers, attributes, and items to create a hybrid class that suits specific playstyles. And while details are light, the game is making the bold claim that “every item serves a function,” saying that the most common spear can be upgraded through affix crafting, and if you have the proper ingredients, it can be forged into a unique item.

Updated August 11, 2023 (3:06pm Pacific): Added PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as platforms.
