LEGO has unveiled the Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi set on the first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2024. This is the fifth addition to the LEGO Super Mario range for adults and features a familiar scene for those who grew up in the SNES era. It features Mario wearing his iconic cape while riding Yoshi in 2D LEGO brick form. Built in multiple layers, the finished set includes animation effects with a pixelated appearance. Once built, the set also functions as a display piece and includes a mechanism to make Yoshi “run.” Additionally, there is a dial to make Yoshi’s tongue pop in and out, just like in the game.
