Creators of The Walking Dead, Telltale Games, has officially revealed the trailer for its upcoming title, The Wolf Among Us. Based on the award-winning Fables comic book series by Bill Willingham and published by DC Comics’ Vertigo, The Wolf Among Us is a dark and brutally violent take on the characters and creatures of fairy tales. The game will feature an evolution of Telltale’s choice and consequence game mechanic, with the first episode allowing players to assume the role of Bigby Wolf, Sheriff of Fabletown.

The series will be shown to players for the first time at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington on August 30 through September 2. The game’s events will be set prior to the first issue of the Fables comic book series and will examine the lives of our favorite fairy tale characters trying to survive on the streets of New York.

The Wolf Among Us will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac. No official release date has been announced.
