Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be released on February 11, 2014 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and Square Enix is releasing a series of videos titled “Inside the Square – The Making of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.”

Part 1 of the video series has now been released, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and the journey Lightning will take to save the world. In the third game of the Final Fantasy XIII series, you’ll reprise the role of Lightning as she embarks on a new mission to save souls so that they may be brought to a new world. There’s only 13 days remaining until the end of the world, so not everyone can be saved.

The game will feature all-new weapons, a costume-customization system, and battle abilities in your race against time to fully understand Lightning’s destiny.

Previous trailers for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII revealed that the entire cast of characters from the original Final Fantasy XIII will make a return, though there’s been no sighting of Serah (spoilers!). And yes, Lightning has undergone some breast augmentation according to Square Enix.
