The success of the Super Mario Bros. LEGO sets has resulted in Nintendo expanding its partnership with the LEGO Group. We now have Donkey Kong and Animal Crossing sets available, and earlier this year, LEGO confirmed Mario Kart sets will arrive in 2025. Before that, however, the LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Set will launch on September 1, 2024, priced at $299.99 USD. Preorders are available starting today. Consisting of 2,500 pieces, the 2-in-1 LEGO set can be built as the Great Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Along with the Great Deku Tree, the set features iconic scenes from both games, including the Master Sword pedestal from Breath of the Wild and Link’s House from Ocarina of Time. The Breath of the Wild version offers the ability to animate the tree’s expressive eyebrows and mouth, accented by vibrant pink blossoms and the Master Sword pedestal. In the Ocarina of Time version, green foliage accompanies the Great Deku Tree along with Link’s House. LEGO also said that builders can create both the Master Sword pedestal and Link’s House as smaller models.
The set includes four LEGO minifigures, two for each configuration. The Breath of the Wild version includes Princess Zelda and Link, dressed in their familiar blue attire from the game, while the Ocarina of Time version includes both Young Link and Link. There are also pieces to build Hestu the Korok, several smaller Koroks, Deku Babas, Navi the Fairy, the Deku Sprout, and a Skulltula.
This is the first LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda, and we imagine there is plenty more coming in the future.

The Deku Tree was the first element from The Legend of Zelda we wanted to represent using LEGO bricks. This set allows you to build two different versions of the Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with unique features that are a great fit for the nature of the series. I can’t wait for everyone to get the chance to build this part of The Legend of Zelda world with their own hands
