Xbox Live Gold — which is transitioning to Xbox Game Pass Core — and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can can access three games for free starting Thursday, September 7 at 12:01am Pacific to Sunday, September 10 at 11:59pm Pacific. The three games available are Madden NFL 24, Control, and Crime Boss: Rockay City. Interested players can find these games under the Free Play Days collection, under the Gold member area in the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store.

Madden NFL 24 is one of the longest-standing franchises in video game history. The latest version was released on August 15, 2023 and the timing couldn’t be better considering the NFL season starts tonight. Control is a fantastic experience, if you haven’t had a chance to play it yet. Developed by Remedy Entertainment, the same creators behind the highly anticipated Alan Wake 2. In Control, players assume the role of Jesse Faden, the new Director at the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). Crime Boss: Rockay City, released in March this year, received mixed reviews. This organized crime game merges first-person shooting with turf wars, allowing for solo or multiplayer gameplay.
