Stellar Blade will be available on PlayStation 5 starting tomorrow, April 26, with New Game Plus available at launch, as confirmed by developer Shift Up. The new mode includes expanded gear levels, new costumes, and a suite of new skills. To start things off, players can earn 34 new outfits for Eve in New Game Plus, which includes five accessories and two cosmetics each for Adam, Lily, and the Drone. To find these, players can try re-opening chests where they previously got costumes, or revisit shops that sell them.
Shift Up also shared details on the level expansion for Eve’s gear in New Game Plus. Most of this probably won’t make sense until you play the game, but here are the level expansion details:
- Weapon – 15 -> 40
- Body – 6 -> 9
- Beta – 6 -> 9
- Tumbler – 5 -> 13
- Remaining cores could be sold at SP0-tt2r’s shop to acquire Vitcoin, which could be used to purchase new costume items.
New Game Plus will also offer the ability to collect Cores to power up Eve’s weapons, HP, and Beta Energy even more than in the base game. Upgrading the Tumbler will increase the amount of HP it heals at once, while upgrading the Drone will increase the power of ranged attacks. After all upgrades are complete, players can sell their Core items to SP0-tt2r in order to get new costumes.
New Game Plus also adds Infinite skills, which are enhancements to existing Beta skills. In total, there are four new Beta skill moves, eight new skills to enhance Best/Burst skills, and five new Drone skills. Lastly, Eve’s gears and Exospine will also get new enhancements so players can further personalize how they play the game.
Stellar Blade will launch as a PlayStation 5 exclusive on April 26.
