While Steam Summer Sales just aren’t what they used to be—back in the day when there were Flash Sales and no refunds—they’re still a fantastic time to save big on PC games. This year’s sale runs from June 27 to July 11, starting and ending at 10:00am Pacific (1:00pm Eastern) on those dates, respectively. As usual, expect thousands of games to be discounted during the sale. Don’t buy immediately after the sale goes live, however, as you’ll want to wait for all the kinks to get worked out. This typically takes an hour or two after the sale goes live, and after that, you’ll be safe to buy as the discounts won’t get any better later on in the sale. The exception to this, of course, is if a bugged price works in your favor. So if you see something that’s 90% off as soon as the sale goes live, just grab it.

ou will also be able to save 15% on the Steam Deck 64GB LCD and 512GB LCD models through the Summer Sale if you’ve had your eye on the handheld. Steam is also promoting something new to the sale this year: “a selection of extra-deep discounts you’ll want to peruse for especially good deals.” Maybe those 90% to 95% discounts we’ve been missing all these years will return.

To promote the Summer Sale, Steam has released a trailer promoting several games that will likely be highlighted during the event: Rain World, Palworld, iRacing, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Supermarket Simulator, Kebab Chefs! – Restaurant Simulator, Manor Lords, Stellaris, The Planet Crafter, Content Warning, Party Animals, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Roboquest, and Batman: Arkham Knight.
