Steam has shared its Best of 2023, revealing top games across several categories

Annually, Steam compiles a “Best of” list, showcasing the platform’s top-performing games in various categories. For this year’s list, Steam analyzed data spanning from January 1, 2023, to December 15, 2023. The top games are divided into several tiers (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze), with each tier representing a randomly sorted group of top performers. Games awarded the Platinum designation rank in the top 12 for their respective category, which is what we focus on in our report.
