Starfield had its early access launch last week, but its official launch was September 6 — even though the game went live in the U.S. on September 5. Since its release, Starfield has already set one new record, with Bethesda confirming that the game already has over six million players. This makes it the studio’s most successful launch to date. In addition, Phil Spencer of Microsoft Xbox stated that the game reached over one million concurrent players on September 6 across all platforms.

One of Starfield’s major advantages is its immediate availability on both Xbox and PC Game Pass upon release. Subscribers can play the game without paying anything additional.

Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios’ first new universe in over 25 years and is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
