Starbound sales have passed the one-million mark, Chucklefish has announced on its official Twitter page. The game raised over $250,000 with 10,000 backers within a day of its fundraiser launch and received over $1 million in pre-orders within a month. The game launched in beta on December 4 for the PC, Mac and Linux and will be seeing a big patch in the next couple of weeks. In the patch will be a final character wipe along with your standard list of bug fixes and additions.
Starbound is a space-based sandbox game with every aspect of the worlds procedurally generated. Starbound will also be heading to the PlayStation Vita at a later date.
