Following the successful collab event with The Simpsons, South Park drops into Fortnite from January 9 through February 5, bringing with it a new Quints five-person playlist. The event adds Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, and Butters as Outfits in the Shop, along with items from the free Born in Chaos Pass. The five-player mode for Battle Royale is likely the most interesting addition, while Wonkeeland on the map becomes Cartmanland. And yes, you’ll be able to eat Cheesy Poofs. The Stick of Truth also makes an appearance as a mythic weapon, and Towelie is seen in the trailer, likely as a new Sidekick.

Like The Simpsons event, Fortnite released a short animated film to announce the South Park collab. It doesn’t appear that we’ll get a series of episodes though since there’s no plot here. Basically, Butters continuously gets left out of the Fortnite squad of four with Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman. He uses the Stick of Truth to make them play with him, and that’s how he and his classmates end up on Fortnite’s island. With the five-person playlist, Butters can finally tag along as the fifth wheel.
