Sony has announced compensation for the recent PSN outage, giving all PlayStation Plus members a five-day extension to their membership as well as a future 10-percent discount code that will be good off a total cart purchase on the PlayStation Store. All PlayStation Plus members that had an active membership or free trial on December 25 will receive the five-day extension that will automatically be applied. As for the 10-percent discount, Sony will reveal more details on the promotion later this month and it will be valid towards any total cart purchase on the PlayStation Store. That discount will be available for all PSN members, not just PlayStation Plus subscribers.
