Following last year’s successful Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team, Konami has announced the team is back at it for a remake of the original Silent Hill. This is very likely the title Bloober Team hinted at in February, when they announced that an agreement had been signed for a joint project—a new game based on Konami’s IP. Today’s reveal came during the Konami Press Start Live June 2025 broadcast earlier this morning, which shared more details on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Darwin’s Paradox, eFootball, eBaseball MLB Pro Spirit, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster, Suikoden Star Leap, Gradius Origins, Deliver At All Costs, Eden’s Zero, Survival Kids, and Silent Hill f.

It’s evident the Silent Hill remake is in its very early stages of development, since the teaser trailer was basically just an announcement screen. Konami didn’t even suggest a release window, so we’ll have to sit tight before we learn more. Considering the original Silent Hill was released in 1999, we can wait a few more years for the remake.
