Samsung has revealed its new monitors for 2024, and gamers will want to take a closer look at the two new OLED offerings: the 32″ 4K G80SD and the 27″ QHD G60SD. Samsung touts next-generation OLED performance for both monitors, with the G80SD being its first OLED gaming monitor powered by AI. It uses the same NQ8 AI Gen3 processor found in Samsung’s 2024 8K TVs, helping it upscale content to nearly 4K when using Samsung Gaming Hub and the monitor’s native Smart TV apps.

Both monitors feature a new proprietary burn-in protection technology called Samsung OLED Safeguard+. According to Samsung, a pulsating heat pipe has been applied to the monitor to help prevent burn-in. This works in combination with the Dynamic Cooling System, which Samsung says evaporates and condenses a coolant to diffuse heat five times more effectively than the older graphite sheet method, reducing temperature at the core and preventing burn-in. These monitors will also automatically reduce the brightness of static images such as logos and taskbars.

Featuring a slim metal design and Core Lighting+ that offers ambient lighting synchronizing with the screen, each monitor comes with an ergonomic stand with adjustable height, tilt, and swivel. The OLED Glare Free technology aims to preserve color accuracy while reducing reflections. It’s a low-reflection coating that is designed for OLED models. Samsung says both monitors deliver a brightness of 250 nits and support FreeSync Premium Pro.

Both models are now available, with the 32″ OLED G8 priced at $1,299.99 and the 27″ OLED G6 costing $899.99.
