It’s hard to believe The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released over six years ago on March 3, 2017. In less than a week, gamers will finally be able to experience the sequel, Tears of the Kingdom. Leading up to the game’s release, Nintendo has shared numerous trailers and gameplay videos, and more recently released the “You Can Do What?!” commercial for the game.
To prepare you for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has now shared a recap video for Breath of the Wild, where you can relive the story from the game. While it doesn’t have as in-depth a story as you’d find in a typical RPG, Breath of the Wild does have a story, featuring characters other than Link, Zelda, and Ganon.
Based on early previews, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will undoubtedly be the frontrunner for Game of the Year for many outlets, although it will have some serious competition. Final Fantasy XVI and Diablo IV are due in June, along with Street Fighter VI, which could be a dark horse candidate. Starfield is also set to release later this year in September, assuming no delays.
